World Information: Danny PhantomSabra_La_Tau A teamnesia game where the characters agreed to have their memories taken, be assigned teams, and take part in 'games' in an effort to earn a wish. As teams won games, they would earn their members a piece of their memory back, with people getting their wish once they had all their memories.
The setting was a large underground cave on a world that had gone through a godly apocalypse. The old gods, known as Judges, were using the players as a source of energy to survive. However, the more the people interacted with a judge's domain, the more power a Judge gained, so some turned to running cruel, traumatic game for a longer term interaction and more power. While some games were kind, ranging from truth or dare, board games, to exploration games, others were PvP fight for survivals. Death was common, though the gods could bring back the dead. Some more easily then others.
Survival was not made easy, with teams unable to help each other for free, and food having to be scavenged, and there were many dangers if one wandered too far from the team dorms. All players had a bracer that limited their powers, and they lost the ability to retain memories without it. 'Murdercave' was a very common nickname.
Razzy went home with Edward Elric to
Resembool, but she often goes worldhopping with a power earned after the game ended.
Personal History: Danny Fenton is a half ghost superhero with an archnemesis, Vlad Masters, who wants to marry his mom and make him his son. Danny disagreed with this idea, and eventually Vlad comes to the idea of clones. However, most of the clones came out as Frankenstein's monsters, save for Dani, who retained a human appearance, the ability to transform, and intelligence. However, she wasn't perfect, and Vlad accepted nothing less.
Danielle is trained how to fight, and how to lie, and is used as a spy while the other clones are cannon fodder. She manages to keep Danny off footed enough to keep him from getting answers to his important questions, and after killing a clone to save him, earn a certain amount of trust. Which allowed Dani to shoot him in the back and get him captured.
Danielle is less sure after this point, spying on Vlad to try and make sense of the order of events. She finds out he sees the clones as mistakes, but wanting to desperately believe in her father, confronts him about it, only for him to lie to her face again. The doubts were strong, but her wants stronger, so she went after Danny when he managed to escape. She only succeeded because Danny refused to fight her. The clones were unstable and he didn't want her to melt.
But Danny needed to be forced to transform to obtain the midmorph DNA for stable clones, and Danielle was the only clone left to force the transformation. But using the power was likely to melt Danielle. In Vlad's impatience, he reveals his view of her being a tool, and in Danielle's heartbreak and need to survive, she frees Danny and they fight off Vlad. With a little last minute save from Sam and Tucker.
With a brief detour to help Danny out of trouble for skipping school (getting kidnapped), she flew off on her own. She spent months trying to find a way to stabilize herself, and living on the streets. Understandably, this did not go well, and when her body couldn't take it anymore, she returned to Amity Park to find Danny for help.
Only to have Valerie, a ghost hunter Vlad was manipulating, come after her. Danielle ends up captured saving Valerie from getting crushed by a collapsing building during the pursuit, revealing her half ghost status. Danielle tries to talk her out of handing her over, but unfortunately, with Valerie's vendetta against Danny, and Danielle still struggling with that 'trust' thing, she ends up used to capture Danny instead.
She is handed over to Vlad. Vlad is surprised she's lasted as long as she did. Danielle has one last hope that maybe he found a way to help her and would do so, but Vlad crushes that hope and has decided to melt her down to study her remains.
Danielle is tortured to force her to melt. Danny, having convinced Valerie that she couldn't take part in destroying the human side of Danielle, arrives with the ghost hunter and fight Vlad (whose used duplication to appear as different people.) Danny injects Danielle with an ecto boosting chemical right before she melts.
And its enough to allow her to reform. She joins the fight and Vlad is defeated and they are able to leave. She bids Valerie and Danny good-bye and then goes about trying to find her place in the world. She ends up in the Ghost Zone at one point, and finds out the other clones had arrived as full ghosts.
But with the human world having a nightmare of logistical errors, and the Ghost Zone having too many who either hated Danny or revered him, it made it hard for Danielle to feel like she could have a place for her.
Then she got the Offer.
Personality: Dani is a powerful will, a constant liar, and is just trying her best.
When Dani talks to people, its almost constant she has a smile on her face. When she's not being looked at, the smile is rarely present. With how she fooled Danny, its clear Dani was taught that as long as you smiled, its a lot easier to get people to let go of their questions and not think you're too suspicious. Dani is in a constant state of wanting people to think things are going just fine, so she will smile, but she's under quite a lot of constant stress from being on her own, being hunted by Vlad and Ghost Hunters, and living on the streets. She'll try to joke through it, but she's very aware of her own situation. That being said, when her 'smile through it' strategy fails, she rarely knows a step two for any deceptions.
Her will is also incredibly strong. Dani literally forced her body to remain together for months with a draining pool of energy, and once she comes to a solid decision, she commits. When she knew Vlad was a bad person, she was able to fight him without holding back. Even with her low energy, her conviction to not trouble Danny kept her from Amity Park for months until she felt she had no other choice.
Dani is trying to be a good person. She knows stealing is wrong and does so with guilt. She didn't want to hurt Danny and that prompted her to spy on Vlad to understand. She couldn't leave Valerie to get hurt or die. If someone needs help in front of her, she will do what she can without hesitation. She doesn't want to cause trouble or hurt people and she could end up risking harm to herself to not repeat those incidents.
Dani has a hard time figuring out trust. She knows people can lie. She's been betrayed. But its very hard to see when someone is lying to her because, well, she has limited experience, and a bad tendency to trust wholeheartedly when she decides to trust people. It does, however, make her forgiving when people betray her after they were tricked. She knows what that's like.
Dani is also a clone and doesn't know a lot about society. It makes for an odd perspective not colored by societal norms and missing some obvious things because these are new experiences for her. She has read comics, she's heard stories, so she isn't blind to everything, but its a roll of the dice of what does and does not make sense. It can make her very naive. On the other hand, she's been through some terrible things that can make her seem weirdly wise.
Dani is also incredibly loyal. When she loves someone, she will give them her whole heart and will do almost anything for them, so long as she believes that love is returned. Even if she thinks what that task is, is questionable or bad. She is easily swayed by love.
She is also a little kid. She wants to have fun. She likes pranks. She will be immature and do dumb things just because it seems cool. Usually when her smile facade isn't a facade, its because she's getting to be a kid having fun.
CRAU developments: "Don't be tricked, but you can live like this." A message Dani was allowed to leave herself before her memories were taken. She woke up on the team Lacerta (full of OP'd protag types, like Allen Walker and Aerith Gainborough.), and was given the nickname Razzy. Razzy considered that message a lot, as a means of strength, and then one of warning as she learned just how terrible Sabra was. If Dani believed she could take Sabra while having any idea of what it was like, it meant her memories were going to be rough.
Still, not all was bad in Sabra. Razzy got what Dani had wanted, a family. Older brothers and sisters, a father figure, friends. There were definite lows, but there was a long while that Razzy remained as a source of optimism for people because she refused to give up on having a happy ending.
Not that things were easy. She had died several times, and worse yet, was often the last one, or only one standing in groups she would fight with because her powerset made it very hard to kill her. There were even times she was manipulated in killing others without cause. Seeing her loved ones injured or killed was a common sight, in particular because her loved ones were the self sacrificing types, and its made Razzy very protective. If Razzy has to chose between a loved one dying, or killing someone, she will kill someone. Not without feeling terrible, but she will do it. She will do almost anything to protect them. She won't accept a 'guaranteed die in their place' deal easily for her own reasons, but she is willing to greatly risk her life. There was a Judge, Mirror, who hated Lacerta in particular, that Razzy agreed to get a 'punishment' from in hopes of protecting them, hoping Mirror would be content with them being upset at their youngest hurt.
Mirror shattered her human side, leaving her ghost side, and all the trauma, more dominant. She was teetering between self destructive protector or a yandere, only pushed to the former thanks to a conversation. This resulted in what was known as a 'Heart Game,' a traversing of a person's soul to fix things that couldn't be done on the outside, usually due to Judges. Lacerta could perform these thanks to their patron, Persona, and was also the reason Mirror hated them. Friends and family entered her soul to fix the damage Mirror had done, as well as little things along the way. They were able to fix her human side...and due to do or die circumstances, also threw the manifestation of all her repressed trauma into the 'coped with' part of her heart.
This resulted in Razzy having the ability to deal with absolutely nightmarish scenarios with a stunning amount of composure, and function with a lot of bad things. She is still able to be hurt, but she is able to process the trauma and attempt to deal with it.
Razzy has learned a lot of coping mechanisms. From journaling, to doing things, to pets, and even actually talking to people. She has no trouble relying on those important to her, trusting them, and has greatly reduced her 'smile through stress' as she does in canon. It's still a skill she has, but she hates using it if she can at all avoid it.
She is genuinely more happy then she was, especially since she's left the murdercave and spent some time in peace, visiting other worlds. There is a place where she feels she can belong and she can focus on doing things she enjoys and having a life. She has a more general trust of people acting good in a group, thinking if they have the chance to be good, they will be good. Even if sometimes they're bad because they don't have a choice.
Razzy still doesn't fully get societal conventions. She knows a few more, but most didn't apply in Sabra anyway. She is, however, a little better at reading people. She's more able to recognize what a tsundere is, and she knows the self sacrificing, hero complex type like the back of her hand. She is also not afraid to call them out on it because she thinks its dumb. She will sacrifice herself, sure, but she also knows how to ask for help. One of the first life lessons she learned in Sabra was Claude telling her how its heroic to be able to ask for help, and its something she took it to heart and will bully others to do so as well. She knows to temper trust a little better.
Razzy developed a stronger sense of empathy. There was an event that allowed those in Sabra to experience the life of someone in the world before. Razzy remember Raya Feramis, a girl with an odd connection to spirits, and the years she could fuzzily recalled helped her find her own balance in Sabra. Her gratitude to Feramis never faded, so she had wanted to do all she could to help those spirits when the time came. Learning about her also made her try harder to understand where others were coming from, further encouraged thanks to Persona's patronage.
It made Razzy more forgiving. Actions in games were easy, she understood 'being made to do bad doesn't make you bad' and it let her forgive people, even if she struggled to forgive herself a lot of the time. But in particular, it made her look at Persona, whose Heart Games could do as much harm as help, and see a goddess like her, who just wanted to know more of the world, and decide to help her learn. Her shattered half made her look at Mirror, who had been shattered entirely, and when given the choice to kill her, or convince her to be better, she did the latter. Managing it with help of Monceros who wanted to save her.
There is a strong resentment at being protected or dismissed solely due to her age. She can understand protection for love, or things she doesn't understand, but Razzy understood she was one of the more powerful entities in Sabra. She had been the last one standing too much to know otherwise. But the dismissed was worse, being treated as a dumb kid who shouldn't have an opinion is one of the quickest ways to get on her nerves. She knows she's lacking in experience, but she often found her opinion was dismissed for times she had a valid point.
Which resulted in Razzy adopting a 'ask for forgiveness over permission' attitude for a while. People didn't care enough about themselves and protected her when she didn't need it and wouldn't let her help....so she just acted on her own. Which resulted in the Mirror episode and a few other things. The worse was when she forced a demon friend into a contract because he was literally starving and since she already planned to have immortality thanks to ghostliness to stay with other immortal family, viewed sacrificing a few years of her human lifetime as more than worth it. This exploded pretty spectacularly and it was the first time where someone treating her like a kid actually worked as the demon's teammate understood she was a scared kid trying to protect someone important. So Razzy has learned that asking for permission is important and might do more damage not to do so. Though she's still working on that balance on sometimes people need to be strong armed a bit for their own good, but not to the point where they feel like they have no power in their life.
In short, Razzy is used to terrible, knows to expect terrible, has done terrible, and is trying to learn how to be better, but overall has also learned how to have the love and support of a family and how to rely on others. She will keep trying her best.
Key themes: An evil person manipulating you doesn't mean you're evil. Family is also who you choose to be, not who made you.
Main Motivation: Family and friends are the most important thing to Razzy.
Skills:Basic knowledge: Cook, sew, garden, carpentry, math.
Better knowledge: How to hunt and dress a kill, first aid, cleaning, care for a dog, basket weaving, mediation, stealing, certain kinds of emotional manipulation.
Subjects she knows extensively: Biology, genetics, ghostly research, game rules.
Expert: Personal energy manipulation.
Ghost powers: As a note, Razzy doesn't have the stamina Danny does from lack of endurance training, but she is very good at precise control and efficient energy use. She also changes between human and ghost from, with human form having limited to no access to some abilities.
Ghost only:
Flight (120 mph)
Not affected by temperatures or the void of space.
No organs, no need to breathe.
Enhanced durability, strength, speed.
Able to morph body into weird shapes.
Overshadowing (possession.)
Both forms:
Invisibility (Able to be spread to others).
Intangibility (With precise control and spreads to others).
Ecto energy manipulation (blasts and shields primarily).
Cryokinesis (newest power so still working on it).
Ghost sense.
Enhanced healing. (Not wolverine, just faster then normal.)
CRAU Powers:
World hopping. Unusable while tied to the train.
Heart Game Keys: Able to open up a doorway into a person's soul, usually making a sort of dungeon that can be traversed. Primarily used to fix terrible soul or mental damage, usually things that can't be fixed by therapy, or too time constrained for therapy. Can be used to break magical contracts. Razzy knows to not use this power lightly after that whole demon contract thing. (AKA only ever with very explicit OOC approval and planning.)
Item: Her dog, Gabriel, a Cave Corgi of Sabra. (Its basically just a Corgi, except adapted to live in a cave and great at escapes.)
Sample: Link.Link 2Sometimes you talk down the overpowered psycho, okay okayNotes: She was in fourth wall and the finale battle, but had to app Shadow first, so dunno if that point thing is valid.
